Wheels In Motion To Cure Cystic Fibrosis
Cystic Fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive systems of approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. The disease occurs in one out of every 3,500 live births of all Americans and about 1,000 new cases of CF are diagnosed each year.**
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is one of the most efficient organizations of its kind and is an accredited charity of the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance. Virtually every approved CF drug available today was made possible because of the CF Foundation's support.**
Bernardi Autogroup is proud to be sponsoring The Eurand CF Cycle For Life: Wheels in Motion to Cure Cystic Fibrosis event. This annual bike tour through scenic Massachusetts is a great opportunity for riders to raise money benifitting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
For more information about the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, specifically the Massachusetts/Rhode Island Chapter and the Cycle for Life event coming up this October, click here.
The event is to take place on Saturday, October 2, 2010 in Holliston, Massachusetts. It is geared to accomodate as many riders as possible, with options between three different routes:
12 miles - The Jenna Loop
30 miles - The Haylee Loop
65 miles - Ride for the Roses Loop
And don't worry about a thing! Along the way there will be plenty of well-stocked rest stops, available bike mechanics and ride marshalls, and of course both breakfast and lunch!
If you'd like to register to ride, click here.
I thought this event looked fun so I and a few of my friends have signed up to ride. We haven't decided which loop we'll be riding yet, but we will definitely be there and we will definitely be taking some pictures! We appreciate any and all donations.Thank you so much for your interest and support. I look forward to seeing you there!
